I actually don't think it's possible to admire the show's intro too much



It's so perfect, I really love a good intro.

And there's so much important information hidden in it!

I still can't wait to meet Batboy.

Also, I love how it syncs perfectly to Black and Yellow.

When will Disney set a return date? The new episode was supposed to have debuted at the beginning of the month. Apparently, Dog with a Blog is a higher priority.

In all fairness have you seen Dog With a Blog? I'm willing to wait for new episodes of Gravity Falls if it means more episodes of a dog who barely ever writes on his blog.

I actually watched the pilot of Dog with a Blog, and it absolutely fucking sucked. It's more of an exercise in cruelty than a comedy show.

Hmmm.... I watched the pilot, and was pleasantly amused, but got caught up in other shows. I think it's time I finally sat down to watch this series.

It gets better, bro! The pilot is good but it's one of the weaker episodes.

How do I know somebody who hasn't seen every episode of Gravity. it's my favorite show after Mad Men! My favorite comedy series for sure.

Not according to Disney Channel's impractically large schedule. There's a repeat at 9:30 on Friday that from the incredibly vague episode summary is probably "Gobblewonker", but nothing with the "new" stamp.

Just watched the first episode. This is amazing, why didn't someone make me watch it sooner?

I'd just like to brag that I've gotten at least twenty people addicted to the show, some of whom I've never actually met.

I just started last week. The second I realised HE WAS MADE OF GNOMES, I knew I would love this show forever and ever and ever and ever.

Okay, I just downloaded every episode released so far onto my computer. I think I'm finally going to watch the series.

Dipper Vs Manliness is really bad. I mean, wow, way below the series standard.

Watched the second episode last night. Much funnier than the pilot. It's growing on me quite a bit.

Okay, watching the Time Travel one.

"Headhunters" is the first episode I've genuinely loved. The first two were pretty good, but the third episode is an excellent balance of humor and an actually interesting narrative.

I agree, and yet all my friends list it among their favorites.

At least we all agree on Fight Fighters, although I still think they enjoy it more than I do.

It's possible that I've become numb to the first couple of episodes because I've seen them so much. I'd be willing to come back in a year and revise after having had some time apart.

The three main things I noticed about this clip

- It looks really really shitty
- That's a lot of popsicles.
- Why is the Disney logo so high up on the left side of the frame?

This stuff is really cool though because I love the whole animation process. I'm not entirely sure if the artwork and animation look really bad because it was just the pilot or if they were also planning to take the animation in a different direction than what they ultimately came up with but it was probably a very interesting combination of the two. At the same time though I'm surprised to see that everyone looks pretty much the same, just drawn in a cheaper style.

I could talk about this ALL day. Just these two videos.

I find it very interesting that the blip was originally a realistic looking 3 hand instead of the pyramid guy. Also, that they were so adamant about Mabel's sweater colors.

I like that in "Irrational Treasure", Dipper goes ahead and shows Pacifica the evidence of the cover-up, despite Mabel saying that she'd already learned a lesson. It undercuts the sentimentality nicely.

It feels like a moment that might have been in The Simpsons, but it was done a lot smoother because during any season Homer or Bart (the two characters who are most likely to gloat) would have been overly obnoxious about it but Dipper played it cool.

This show has a clear Simpsons influence though, and I like it.

It's really quite like Regular Show, with the weird happenings and the mundane reactions.

My favourite part of Gravity Falls is that the Pines actually act like children, it's brilliant. Also Mabel.

Oh, for sure. They've even made head-slappingly obvious references to it (Mabel's floor-running), and I love it.
