I can read the old Goosebumps books and the Babysitters Club stuff but I sometimes have to look up words and they can be pretty confusing but I like a challenge.

No, I'm a complete fraud. I'm only in my English course through sheer luck. Don't tell anyone.

I just read Oh, the Places You'll Go. And let me tell you, the places I'll go don't include a library.

Sorry, my cat walked on my keyboard. What I meant to say is: I have the best of intentions. I am in the middle of five books right now. I predict I will finish one of them. The books are appealing to my interests, and while I was in the library I was very excited to start reading them, but when I got home the internet was still there and it was like I didn't have a choice. Sometimes I think it would just be best if my provider had one day-long blackout a week. I would become apoplectic, but then I could read.

The one book I anticipate finishing is Rez Life by David Treuer. It's an examination of life on different reservations mostly around northern Minnesota, interspersed with discussions of treaty history, wars, sovereignty.

No joke: I am functionally illiterate.

Everything I say here, on the review, and in TC is typed for me by my nine-year-old cousin.
