I've only seen two films all year: Moonrise Kingdom and Five Year Engagement. Easy choice as to which I prefer.

I thought people were actually pretty harsh on The Five-Year Engagement. I found it to be pretty charming and funny.

I haven't seen The Master, Holy Motors, Argo, etc. so for now my favorite films of the year are The Avengers, Moonrise Kingdom, and Cabin in the Woods.

Mostly likely Avengers. Considering how much merch I have shamelessly bought.

Same! I thought it was perhaps a little bit long, but I can't decide what I would have liked to be cut.

Yes. That's how to reply to something and make it clear what you're replying to. But there's no set way. The thread is just one long conversation. Be your own flower, and bloom your petals however you see fit. flower

Best or favorite? Because the three best films I saw this year were 1. Holy Motors 2. Lincoln and 3. Looper
My favorite would be some three way tie between Lincoln, Looper, and Wreck It Ralph. Holy Motors wasn't my favorite, but I think it was definitely the best film of the year.

    Right now,

    1. Take This Waltz
    2. Damsels in Distress

But I may try to make a breakneck catch-up attempt in time to deliver a full list before the end of the year. We'll see.
